Islamic Graffiti Contest Held In Kazan

The winners of the first Islamic graffiti contest were awarded in Kazan on November, 20th. The event was organized by the Muslim Religious Board (MRB) of Tatarstan and had 40 participants from the entire republic. The difference between the “traditional” urban graffiti and the Islamic one is said to be the absence of human and animal images. The Kazan team of Igor Afanasiev and LilDi won the contest with works which will be used for future MRB youth activities.
