TKT: How did you turn out in Kazan?
Mr. White: I turned out in Kazan because it is my school holidays and my Mum said we should go to Kazan so we did. I like travelling and making new friends.

Mr. White: My favourite occupations are – Music, Art, English, History, Sport, Geography. I also like athletics. I like being fit.
TKT: Whom would you like to be in 10 years, 20 years?
Mr. White: In 10 years or 20 years I would like to be maybe a Teacher or a Sailor or a Pilot. I don’t know, really. I would like to be useful for other people, so that I feel good that I do something important.
TKT: Do you like Kazan, is it different from where you live?
Mr. White: I like Kazan I would advise English or French students to come there and see beautiful parts of Kazan. I like Tatar meals, especially “lapsha” – chicken noodle soup. What a delight!
TKT: How different it is?
Mr. White: Kazan is quite different to England because in Russia there are more flats than in England and in England there is more countryside than you expect if you stay in England.
TKT: Things about Great Britain you miss the most in Kazan?
Mr. White: If I am in Kazan and I really miss my friends, my school and the boarding house. I adore Oxford and thank you to my parents that I was born there and study there!
TKT: What do you know about Kazan’s plans for 2013?
Mr. White: I know that in 2013 that Kazan and Tatarstan is going to have the Universiade. I love volunteers, their colourful uniform, a lot of smiles and hospitality.
TKT: What would you recommend for Kazan and Tatarstan do after the Universiade?
Mr. White: I would recommend Kazan and Tatarstan to have something to do with Art or Music after the Universiade (in 2014). I would love to see this and maybe even to help! I know that my choir (Chirst Church Cathedral Choir) would like to come to Kazan and sing beautiful English Christmas carols.
TKT: Are you coming back?
Mr. White: I may be coming back to Kazan when winter comes and hopefully see my friends. But my Dad is in Moscow at the moment and I think, my next visit to Russia will be to Moscow.
